TUCSON - Hit & miss Monsoon activity for Tucson's 238th birthday.
Isolated storms are possible this afternoon & evening, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. While there's ample moisture present, most storms should favor the higher terrain due to weak steering winds. Because of the slow motion of storms, locally heavy rainfall is possible today.
Isolated storms and daytime highs in the 100's rule the remainder of the work week forecast.
Odds are increasing for a wet weekend, as a potential tropical disturbance in the eastern Pacific surges moisture up from the Gulf of California. Scattered storms are possible Saturday and Sunday, along with cooler temps.
