TUCSON - A warm wrap to April in the Old Pueblo.
High pressure remains anchored off the West Coast locks in the 90's again today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Temps this afternoon run 7-9 degrees above average under sunny skies, accompanied by west winds around 10-15 MPH.
A cold front drops down the spine of the Rockies to start May, bringing 15-25 MPH winds back Thursday and Friday. The fire danger by week's end looks high & Red Flag Warnings may be issued for most of southern Arizona.
High temps tomorrow through early next week peak in the upper 80's to low 90's. Clouds may increase some Monday as a storm system approaches from California, but no rain is in the forecast the next week.
