TUCSON - A streak of warm temperatures will be interrupted by another big pattern change.

High pressure flexing its muscle over the southwest brings Tucson the warmest day of the year so far with a high of 84, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Little temperature change is expected for tomorrow with highs peaking in the low 80s once again but we will see an increase in cloud cover.

Daytime highs will remain well above average through the middle of the upcoming work week starting with 75 on Monday and peaking near 80 on Wednesday. Just a few high clouds can be expected during this period with a normal afternoon breeze.

Our next winter storm is forecast to move into the region late next week and into next weekend. It is still a little far out to pinpoint the specifics but expect much cooler temperatures, gusty winds and a chance of valley rain and mountain snow.
