TUCSON - A new string of 80° temperatures here for the start of spring.
On the last official day of winter the Old Pueblo topped out at 81° which was 6° above average for this date. High clouds increase throughout the day on Thursday and temperatures will once again top out in the low 80s with winds in the 5-15mph range.
High clouds clear out into Friday afternoon as zonal flow sets up over the southwest. Daytime highs will be stuck in the low to mid 80s with overnight lows in the low 50s right on through the weekend and into next week.
