TUCSON - Perfect October weather holding serve for a while.
High temps this week will be in the low to mid 80's, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. A strong Pacific storm system stays well north of Arizona, only adding a few cirrus clouds to the skies the next few days.
High pressure starts to build off the West Coast late this week, moving closer to the state by early next week. As a result, daytime highs rise to the upper 80's by Sunday for Tucson with low 90's west of the metro under sunny skies. These temperatures are 5-7 degrees above average.
Expect overnight lows in the mid to upper 50's now through next week.
