QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (AP) - Six people were burned when a backyard bonfire at a Queen Creek home got of control, reportedly after an accelerant was used.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says those burned Tuesday night included two children, include an 11-year-old girl who was burned over 50 percent of her body.
A 19-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman also had serious burns, while three other people had minor burn injuries.
Deputies say the group was gathered around the bonfire when use of some sort of accelerant caused it to grow.
