Tucson "A" Mountain, Sunday, July 4, 2010
Tucson and Pima County residents may enjoy the "A" Mountain fireworks show from the Tucson Convention Center's Parking Lot B (off Granada between Congress and Cushing St.). There will be food vendors (burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, refreshments and a beer garden) available between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
In addition, the Southern Arizona Mustang Club has announced that they will display club vehicles from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. For additional information about the Southern Arizona Mustang Club, please contact Gilbert Ybarra at 419-0558.
Residents may enjoy watching the "A" Mountain fireworks show from two additional locations. The lot at 22nd Street and I-10 frontage road (NE corner) will be open. Residents may also go to the City/State Parking Garage at 498 W. Congress (near I-10).

America's Birthday Bash at Fleischer Park is one of the largest Independence Day celebrations in Southern Arizona. The daylong celebration starts with the parade at 10:00 am at the Old Court House. After the parade the fun will continue at Fleischer Park where games, food, live entertainment and fun for the entire family will take place. The afternoon program will begin at 4:00 p.m. The Borderline Band, Sonny Peters Jazz Band and Raiz Latina together with Techno Show will headline the evening entertainment. A fantastic fireworks extravaganza will light up the sky beginning at approximately 8:45 p.m.
