TUCSON - Today on "4 Your Money," our financial "can-do" contributor Tiana Ronstadt stopped by with seven ways to pinpoint the "fast lanes" and "roadblocks" on your path to financial independence.

Here they are:

1. Check your credit report at least twice a year.

2. Get your credit score above 700.

3. Have a living revocable trust, will, advance directive and durable power of attorney... for healthcare?

4. Get overdraft protection on your checking account ?

5. Know your monthly expenses... Don't guess.

6. Have a well thought out investment plan... For when the market falls.

7. Realize... a 65 year old woman today has a 50-50 chance of living to 85.

Check out the video above for a complete discussion on financial independence.
