Scottsdale's Danica Patrick to race in first NASCAR event

DAYTONA BEACH, FL- Scottsdale resident Danica Patrick will make her NASCAR debut this weekend at Daytona International Speedway in Florida.

Patrick will drive the No. 7 Chevrolet in Saturday's second-tier Nationwide Series race.

The car is owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr.
