2nd shooting at Ten's Showclub in just over a week

TUCSON- A 32-year-old male suffered life threatening injuries after being shot in the parking lot of Ten's Showclub early Sunday morning.

According to Sargeant Maria Hawke with the Tucson Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired just after 2 a.m. Sunday morning at Ten's Showclub on East Speedway.

Hawke said two groups of people were arguing before a fight broke out and shots were fired.

A white SUV was seen leaving the parking lot immediately following the shooting. TPD officers followed the SUV to the intersection of East Rosewood and North Magnolia. The SUV stopped and the occupants fled.

Police were able to detain one male subject they believed to have been in the SUV.

This is the second shooting at Ten's Showclub this month. 26-year-old Hilario Salcido died after being shot, along with three other people, December 22.

Detectives from the Gang Investigative Unit are assisting in the investigation of Sunday's shooting.

No one else was injured in Sunday's shooting.

Police ask anyone with information to call 88-Crime or 9-1-1.
