TUCSON - In today's briefing, Tucson Police say 2 more people from the 5 people they were looking for in the earlier released video have been interviewed. 1 person self-identified himself yesterday and was interviewed as well. That means there are still 2 more people from the video police would like to speak to as soon as possible.
Lt. Fabian Pacheco said TPD will now conduct only one press briefing a day at 2 p.m. They are continuing to receive tips, but it has slowed down. Therefore, they are encouraging anyone with information to call 88-CRIME or through Tip-Soft that lets anyone send anonymous crime tips through an Android or iPhone app. If you don't have a smartphone, you can also send a text to CRIMES or 274637.
Pacheco says they are not going to show all their cards in this investigation for understandable reasons. 10-13 FBI agents are still working the case and they have received more than 350 tips thus far.
The parents of missing 6-year-old Isabel Celis are still fully cooperating with police and speak to them on a daily basis. They have not returned home, even though they are welcome to do so.
Detectives are currently going back and listening to all previous interviews and developing a strategy for moving forward in this investigation.
