PHOENIX (AP) - Police say two people were fatally stabbed while at a memorial gathering at a Phoenix apartment complex.
Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Steve Martos says a dispute that led to the stabbing early Sunday erupted as dozens of people from Burma, also known as Myanmar, were in a three-bedroom apartment to mourn the death of someone they knew.
Investigators are examining the source of the dispute.
No arrests have been made.
Martos says police were facing a language barrier in interviewing people who were in the apartment at the time.
