2 drug dealers arrested after drugs found in Florence residence

FLORENCE - Two drug dealers arrested after search warrants are served in Florence.

On Monday, August 25th, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force executed two narcotics search warrants. One of the warrants was served on a residence located in the 100 block of North Willow Street in Florence. The other was served at a residence in the 300 block of West Highway 287, also in Florence.

During one of the search warrants, 45-year old Kimberly Ann Berumen of Florence was found to be in possession of 23.23 grams of Methamphetamine, valued at $800 dollars. She was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia related to the sale of the methamphetamine.

Berumen was arrested and charged with Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Using a Building for Sale or Manufacture of Dangerous Drugs or Narcotic Drugs; Fortification of a Building.

During the execution of the second search warrant, 33-year old Thomas James Rankin Jr., also of Florence, was found to be in possession of 19.24 grams of Marijuana, valued at $800.00 dollars, and 8.91 grams of Methamphetamine packaged for sale, valued at $800 dollars. Drug paraphernalia related to the sale of dangerous drugs and narcotics were also located in the residence

Rankin was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana for Sale, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Using a Building for Sale or Manufacture of Dangerous Drugs; Fortification of a Building.

Rankin and Berumen are both convicted felons who have spent time in the Arizona Department of Corrections.
