Tucson - A two-car accident on Ajo Way near I-19 tied up rush hour traffic Wednesday night.

It appears after the two cars collided at 5:49 p.m., one of the drivers got out of their car and laid down on the ground, and was not ejected from his vehicle, as first thought.

Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital.

The driver who stayed in their vehicle has more severe injuries than the driver who got out, Tucson Fire says.

At this time, it is unknown whether any charges will be filed. We'll update this story as new information becomes available.
