An unusual find in Phoenix Sunday.
Authorities discovered a 16-year-old boy roaming around in the city's underground sewer system.
Phoenix police say the 16-year-old was found about a half mile away at 51st and Wickup Lane.
He appeared agitated and ran from them and police had to cuff him.
Fire crews from many surrounding areas searched underground for some time where he was first spotted at 51st and Union Hills.
One neighbor says she spoke to him briefly but he asked her not to call authorities saying he had run away from home.
She called police anyway and crews came out a few hours later when neighbors called again when they realized the teen was still roaming around underground.
The teen was taken away on a stretcher and is being evaluated.
