14-year-old girl looking for her forever family

She wears her emotions on her sleeve and makes no apologies, because it comes from a loving place.
All you have to do is follow Jessica into the butterfly exhibit, at Botanical Gardens, and her personality comes alive. The 14-year old likes butterflies because they know how to defend themselves. Jessica has traveled a tough road and tells Kristi's Kids she's ready for acceptance.

"I want someone I can call mom and dad, someone I can give love to, someone who won't push me away."

Jessica case manager, Michelle Grobman, says, "She has a lot of street smarts and I think it's because of what's she's gone through. It just shines through every single day."

When asked about her past, Jessica says, "The past is the past, the future is the future and the present is the present... I want to live in the future. I want to live in the present. Sometimes I pray to God and I just know everything's gonna be okay."
