10th Warmest April in Tucson

TUCSON-The heat continues in Tucson with April 2012 being the 10th warmest April on record. The month started off cool but ending quite warm with the second half of the month being the 2nd warmest Apr 16-30 period since thety started keeping records back in 1880.
Chief Meteorologist Rob Guarino says it was also the 2nd earliest 100 degree day ever in Tucson and 3rd warmest 3 day period with highs of 99-101-100 about a week ago. More heat is on the way with a top 15 warmest May likely this month.
