1,400 without power around Tucson

TUCSON - As of 5:35 p.m. this evening, about 1,400 people are without power in the Tucson area.

Tucson Electric Power confirms that the power went out for about 1,100 people near Camino de Oeste and Bilby, on Tucson's southwest side.

An additional 300 are without power near Ruthrauff and Interstate 10, on the northwest side of Tucson.

TEP says about 100 more people around Tucson are without power at this time.
