TUCSON - According to Arizona Department of Transportation, a rollover crash involving a semi has closed northbound Interstate 19 at Pima Mine Road.
Northbound I-19 traffic is being diverted to the frontage road to get past the crash site. The accident happened at 6:45 this morning.
The truck's front left tire blew out and the driver lost control of the vehicle. It went through three medians and ended up on its side on the northbound lane. The driver is ok, but he was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Only one lane of the northbound lane is open, and ADOT expects that to be the case for the next couple of hours.
