TUCSON - Daytime highs continue their climb as we head into the work week.
Tucson rounds out the weekend with the first 95 degree day of the year, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Temperatures peak on Monday afternoon with a forecast high of 97 in Tucson, however, western desert locations will make it into the triple digits.
High pressure starts to back off a little later this week as a weather disturbance moves to the north of Arizona. This will help us out in the temperature department by bringing us back to the upper 80s for Thursday and Friday.
