TUCSON - Pima County Sheriff's Department announces they'll conduct a sobriety checkpoint and saturation patrol Saturday night, January 19, 2013.

In the department's press release, they state alcohol-impaired motor vehicle crashes cost more than an estimated $37 billion annually. In 2010, more than 10,000 people died, nationally, in alcohol-impaired driving crashes - one every 51 minutes.
