TUCSON - The long time Tucson Police Department tradition, the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, will bring in elementary school children from around the city to help and decorate the Police Headquarter's Christmas tree.
Elementary school students will be working together to decorate the Christmas tree in the Police Headquarters Lobby. Arriving in a special police escort, Santa Claus will take pictures with the children. After Kris Kringle's arrival, the Christmas tree will be decorated. According to a TPD news release, there will also be a short magic show for the children presented by Tucson Police Reserve Officer Hector Reyes.
The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting event will be located at the Main Police Station located at 270 South Stone Avenue, starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2012.
