TUCSON - A 10-hour telethon will be held in Bisbee at the end of the month, with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club of Bisbee and the programs it provides the children of the Bisbee-Naco community.

The 7th Annual Boys and Girls Club of Bisbee Telethon will be broadcast on April 28, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on CableOne Channel 2. The telethon can be viewed live and donations can be submitted on the day of the event by visiting:

The telethon will also feature dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m for attendees, and a variety of entertainers, including: Pat Gahn, Azlin Villa, the Arthritis Brothers, Anamieke Quinn and The Green Tomatoz.

"'GREAT FUTURES START HERE' sums up the Boys & Girls Club, emphasizing Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, Sports, and Fitness and Recreation," event organizers stated in a news release.
