TUCSON - Here comes the heat. High pressure to the north cranks up the thermostat to wrap October, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Upper 80's to low 90's are expected for daytime highs, running up to 10° above average. Mostly sunny skies dominate this afternoon, with partly cloudy skies on tap overnight. Halloween features a few mountain showers, but valley floors should remain dry for Trick-or-Treat time. A cold front blasting out of the Pacific brings a significant pattern change to start November. Gusty winds up to 25 MPH develop this weekend, with patchy blowing dust on I-10 possible. The front sweeps across the state early next week, providing a 15-20° temperature drop. Highs starting Sunday reach the 70's. Overnight lows early next week dip to the upper 40's/low 50's in Tucson, with 30's possible in the mountains and valley floors of Cochise County.
