TUCSON - Scattered to numerous moderate showers have, and will continue to move through Metro Tucson, before tapering off later tonight. Another round of valley rain and mountain snow is likely for the first part of Thursday. A few areas of low pressure are moving into the region and many areas will receive up to 1/2" of rain and up to 10" of snow on the highest mountaintops, before wrapping up by Thursday afternoon. Temperatures are on the cool side only reaching the low-to-mid 50s in the valleys. Drier weather will return to the region by Thursday afternoon, but cool weather will stick around through the remainder of the week and into weekend. Sunny and warm weather is in the forecast by Christmas Eve, as temperatures approach 70 degrees.
