    United to restart 787 flights today

    UNDATED (AP) - United Airlines' 787s return to the air this morning with a flight from Houston to Chicago.

    The federal government had grounded Boeing 787s in January because of smoldering batteries that caused an emergency landing and a fire on another plane.

    United says it'll first use the 787s for shorter domestic flights and resume using them for international flights June 10.
