TUCSON - A elderly woman has died after she and her nephew were hit by an SUV near the Mountain View High School graduation Thursday.
Northwest Fire tells News 4 the couple was leaving the graduation ceremony at the school when they were hit.
Both were taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition, where the woman died.
Northwest Fire says the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating.
