TUCSON - Today's high of 108 in Tucson tied yesterday's high and marks the hottest temperature reported at the airport in more than 300 days.
Each day this month has featured highs above 100 degrees. There is no relief from the heat on the horizon.
Tucson has never reported a June where all 30 days have been above 100 degrees. The most was 28 days back in 2004.
Despite the monsoon beginning on Saturday, no rain is in sight.

TUCSON - For the third time in 10 days, Tucson reached 107 degrees for a high temperature.
The 107 high remains the hottest temperature the airport has recorded so far this year.
Tucson's average high for June, 10th is 100 degrees. Average highs will continue to climb until June, 20th when the average goes up to 102 degrees.
Meanwhile, the monsoon countdown continues and despite no rain in the forecast, the monsoon officially begins Saturday June, 15th.

TUCSON - For the second time this week, Tucson hit 107 degrees for a high temperature.
This time last week, Tucson had yet to see triple digits. We've been in 100+ degree every day since.
Little relief is in store for the weekend and beyond, with high temperatures ranging from 104-106 degrees under abundant sunshine.
Excessive heat warnings posted for Phoenix and much of the Western Deserts have expired.

TUCSON - June heat continues to build across Southeast Arizona.
Today's high of 104 won't make the record books but it was a good 5 degrees above average.
The heat will stick around for the next several days, fluctuating anywhere from 103-107.
There is a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm on Friday in the White Mountains but by Saturday the strong ridge pushes much of the moisture back toward the East.
