TUCSON - Tucson police fatally shot a man on the South Side Saturday.
Around 7 p.m. they got a call about a man and woman physically fighting outside the Pueblo Center near Irvington Road and 6th Avenue.
The caller said the man had a handgun.

HUACHUCA CITY - The animal shelter is temporarily closing, and its supervisor is on leave after a Parvo outbreak.
A letter from a Cochise County Animal Control Officer described the conditions as "cold and uncompassionate" and some animals had to suffer "slow and agonizing death."

TUCSON - The Armed Citizens Project has found a way to buy inexpensive shotguns to give away in neighborhoods with high crime rates.
Shaun McClusky heard about a gun giveaway in Houston and decided to bring it to Tucson. He has been working with Tommy Rompel at Black Weapons Armory.
