TUCSON - Tucson police fatally shot a man on the South Side Saturday.

Around 7 p.m. they got a call about a man and woman physically fighting outside the Pueblo Center near Irvington Road and 6th Avenue.

The caller said the man had a handgun.

Huachuca City animal shelter closes; supervisor on leave

HUACHUCA CITY - The animal shelter is temporarily closing, and its supervisor is on leave after a Parvo outbreak.

A letter from a Cochise County Animal Control Officer described the conditions as "cold and uncompassionate" and some animals had to suffer "slow and agonizing death."

Kids arrested for arsons on East Side

Project closer to giving away shotguns

TUCSON - The Armed Citizens Project has found a way to buy inexpensive shotguns to give away in neighborhoods with high crime rates.

Shaun McClusky heard about a gun giveaway in Houston and decided to bring it to Tucson. He has been working with Tommy Rompel at Black Weapons Armory.

Helicopter blows away attacking bee swarm

TUCSON - Pima County Search and Rescue Deputies used an unconventional method to save hikers from a bee attack Sunday.

A group of five was hiking near Oro Valley when a swarm attacked.
