  Since that day in 2011, when Jared Loughner killed 6 people and wounded 13 others, the Pima County Sheriff's department has formed a new unit devoted to dealing with people who have mental illness tendencies and who could become a threat to society.

  Ramon Jesus Steele, 25 and known as Jesse, was killed in a car accident back in June 2001. One of two passengers in a car that went off the road and into a tree on Drexel just west of Mission. Jesse died at the scene.

  Clerk stabbed at Tucson store sustains life-threatening injuries

  TUCSON - An altercation at a convenience store overnight left one person with life-threatening stab wounds.

  It happened at a convenience store on Tanque Verde and Dos Hombres. Police tell us the 22-year-old store clerk was attacked ,and they are now looking for a suspect described as a white or Hispanic man wearing a grey hoodie.
