    Convenience store clerk dies from stab wounds

    TUCSON- A convenience store clerk who was stabbed early Friday morning has died from his injuries.

    According to Sergeant Chris Widmer with Tucson Police, 22-year-old Erick Bridges passed away Saturday afternoon.

    TUCSON- Tucson Police are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting near West Irvington Road and South 6th Avenue.

    Details are limited at this time, but one person is confirmed dead.

    News 4 has a crew on scene and will have a live report at 10 p.m.

    PATAGONIA-More than 150 fire personnel are busy battling a new wildfire in Southern Arizona.

    The "Soldier Basin Fire" is about five miles east of the Nogales Airport and seven miles south of Patagonia.

    It has burned more than 800 acres.

    Woman dies after crashing vehicle into pole

    TUCSON - A woman died in a crash on the southside Saturday.

    The Pima County Sheriff's Department says the woman was driving near Swan and Irvington when she slammed into a Tucson Electric Power pole.

    It happened around 5:30pm.

    She was ejected from her truck and died at the scene.

    Irvington is blocked off as detectives investigate the accident.

    Head-on collision on the Westside

    Tucson- Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to a call of a collision Friday night.

    There were two pickup trucks involved: a white Dodge Ram and a grey Ford Ranger.

    The driver of the white Dodge Ram sustained minor injuries and was transported for precautionary measures.
