A recent British study conducted by Weight Watchers found that the average Brit consumes 3,200 calories at each barbecue (that's equivalent to eating six Big Macs!).

    A 35-year-old mother of three is recovering from burns, after an apartment fire, early Friday morning. The woman's bed caught fire in the 3000 block of Alvernon, south of Fort Lowell, at about 1:30 a.m. The woman and her three kids were able to escape, the mom was treated for burns. Officials say two other apartments were damaged, fire crews are still investigating the cause.

    The Western Burrowing Owl will soon be going back to its original habitat, after a major renovation project. Saturday, eight owls will be released along the Santa Cruz River . Crews found the owls after beginning construction back in 2013. They were relocated to a sanctuary in Cave Creek, to avoid harming them.   Wildlife experts will help them re-acclimate to their old home.

    Sierra Vista - The arrest of a Sierra Vista man marks the end of an investigation into fraud and identity theft that has been active since December 2016, when the first of four related arrests was made, according to police. On Saturday, at about 11:45 a.m. 33-year-old James Mosier was arrested at the Border Patrol checkpoint on North Highway 90 for two failure to appear warrants issued out of the Sierra Vista Police Department. Mosier was a suspect in an active identity
