    Phoenix firefighter dies from injuries suffered in fire

    PHOENIX (AP) - A firefighter has died from injuries he suffered while fighting a mulch fire in southwest Phoenix.

    Authorities say 23-year-old Phoenix Firefighter Bradley Harper was critically injured late Saturday afternoon when he became pinned between two fire vehicles.

    Harper died Sunday morning.

    Harper had been a Phoenix firefighter for two years.

    Over 150 people working to control Soldier Basin Fire

    PATAGONIA-More than 150 fire personnel are busy battling a new wildfire in Southern Arizona.

    The "Soldier Basin Fire" is about five miles east of the Nogales Airport and seven miles south of Patagonia.

    It has burned more than 800 acres.

    Body found in a canal, now indentified

    Scottsdale, AZ- Scottsdale police has identified a body found in a canal as 78-year-old Edward Allan Brawley. 

    Police believe Brawley was riding his bike along the canal and somehow fell into the water.The canal is located near Hayden Road and Indian Bend.
